What Did People Say About Jesus?
If you want to get an accurate picture of who Jesus was and what He was like, just look at the people around Him. Jesus was a very controversial figure and, fortunately, many people during His day had a lot to say about Him. The Bible records the different reactions Jesus got as He traveled around Judea and Israel. Jesus still gets varying reactions today. Good or bad, there has been a lot of talk about who He was and who He claimed to be. Everyone is able to examine the facts and make a decision. The only position about Jesus that is wrong is a neutral one.
Matthew 9:33 After the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed and were saying, “Nothing like this has even been seen in Israel.”

Mark 1:27 They were amazed, so that they debated among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority? He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”
Mark 15:39 When the centurion, who was standing right in front of Him, saw the way He breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”
